SCINETICS / CAREERS
Brand & Content Operations
This role is currently in person in Shanghai. We plan to open a Seattle office soon; outstanding candidates overseas are welcome to get in touch, and relocation support for a move to Shanghai can be discussed.
As a versatile member of our brand team, your mission is to bridge science and a broader audience—turning frontier scientific intelligence into writing and visual content that is clear, elegant, and native to the internet.
You will help build a frontier technology brand from zero to one and give technically rigorous work a human voice.
What You Will Do
Social channels: Operate our WeChat, Xiaohongshu, X, and other channels, from editorial planning and writing to layout and publication.
Visual production: Create event posters, editorial graphics, product brochures, polished presentations, and simple extensions of our visual identity.
New formats: Produce written and short-form video content, including basic editing, pacing, effects, subtitles, and packaging.
Analytics and insight: Track readership and engagement, review performance, and study how leading AI organizations communicate and design.
Campaign support: Prepare materials and support execution for online and in-person communications activities.
Who You Are
Bachelor’s degree or above, currently enrolled or with one to three years of experience; communications, Chinese, design, advertising, or related backgrounds are preferred.
Strong writing and the ability to explain complex technology clearly, with sound visual judgment.
Proficiency in at least two production tools such as Photoshop, Figma, Illustrator, CapCut/Jianying, or Canva.
Deep familiarity with the content cultures of WeChat, Xiaohongshu, Bilibili, X, and related platforms.
Genuine interest in AI, AI for Science, and deep technology; proactive in ambiguous, fast-moving work.
What We Value
You are AI-native and already use tools such as ChatGPT or Claude in writing, design, or production.
Your work speaks louder than a résumé: writing, layouts, visual design, presentations, or edited video.
You close loops independently—researching unfamiliar scientific terms and moving work forward without waiting for perfect instructions.
Bonus Points
A personal media account or a portfolio of content, design, or video work.
Practical use of advanced AI image-generation tools.
Strong English reading and writing for following global AI developments.
Experience with technology, SaaS, or AI projects; Shanghai-based students who can start soon are especially welcome.
Application materials: A portfolio is required. Please include writing, posters, presentation work, video links, personal media accounts, or AI-assisted creative work.
